A DDPAI Z60 4K dual-channel dash cam installed in a BMW X3, with a high-mounted front unit and the rear camera cable routed into the powered tailgate trim.
This BMW X3 was fitted with a DDPAI Z60 dual-channel dash cam set. The 4K front unit was placed high beside the rear-view mirror, with the power and rear-camera connections entering directly into the upper trim. At the rear, the smaller camera was mounted on the tailgate glass and the cable was routed through the liftgate trim with the movement of the powered tailgate taken into account. Both channels were powered on, aimed and checked before the vehicle was returned.

The DDPAI Z60 front camera was mounted close to the factory mirror to keep the windscreen area tidy. The built-in screen remains available for checking the live view and settings while the main driving view stays as clear as possible.

Both leads enter the upper trim beside the camera rather than dropping down the windscreen. From there the cable route follows the factory trim, with care taken around trim clips and restraint-system areas before continuing towards the rear of the X3.

A powered tailgate needs a rear-camera cable route that allows the liftgate to open and close normally. The Z60 rear camera was positioned high on the tailgate glass and its cable was secured through the moving trim rather than stretched across the cargo opening.

The Z60 supports a 4K front channel and a 1080P rear channel in this dual-camera configuration. Both feeds were checked on the display, followed by a recording and angle check with the tailgate fully closed.
