A cracked screen, or just a small one
Some owners come to us because the factory screen has cracked; others simply want something bigger. Either way the answer is the same: a 9-inch screen in the factory position.
The factory screen on a 2015 Mazda2 replaced with a 9-inch screen running wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, keeping the factory reversing camera and the control knob, at our Oakleigh South workshop in Melbourne. $550 fitted.
The owner of this 2015 Mazda2 wanted a bigger screen. The factory 7-inch screen came off the top of the dash and a 9-inch one went on in its place, on a mount made to sit where the original did. It runs wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so the phone connects without a cable. The factory reversing camera still comes up when the car goes into reverse, and the control knob on the centre console still works the screen. All work is backed by a one-year warranty on parts and installation.

No cable to plug in each time. The phone connects wirelessly, and Apple CarPlay or Android Auto comes up on the new screen.
03
The Mazda's own camera is connected to the new screen and shows when you select reverse.
04
The rotary knob on the centre console still controls the screen, so it works the way the car always has.

On a Mazda with the Mazda Connect screen, the factory CarPlay upgrade keeps the screen you have, $450. A new screen like this one is for a screen that has cracked, or for when you want a bigger one.
